Views from the Sofa is launching another theme week and this one concerns the master director Alfred Hitchcock. Our exposure to Hitchcock is quite minor, having covered The Birds as an official review and only having seen Psycho once before that (but yet to review it officially for the site).
Episode 4 of the Views from the Sofa Podcast (click the link, listen and subscribe, it’s a corker!) set the blindspot challenge of six (!) movies of Hitchcock’s. The films covered this week will be Vertigo, Dial M for Murder, North by Northwest, Mr and Mrs Smith and The Man Who Knew too Much.

We will also be covering The White Shadow, the recently discovered but incomplete Hitchcock silent movie. Not a review but a look back at the work and the site’s first ever experience with a “classic” silent movie.
To top it off will be a Career Peak, another Greatest Scene entry and of course Episode 5 of the Views from the Sofa Podcast!
Overall, come back each day for a new entry in the Views from the Sofa Hitchcock Week. Also check out the movies mentioned above and then tune in to Adam and mine’s opinions later this week.
